An adventure and dream trip, you really enjoy it and it's totally out of the ordinary.
The trip everyone needs to take through Southeast Asia. We'll set off on a 19-day journey through Vietnam, Thailand, and Bali. We'll start in Hanoi, exploring its temples and lively old quarter, followed by the calm of Tam Coc and the breathtaking Ha Long Bay.
We'll fly to Thailand, where we'll discover Bangkok's golden temples and soak up nature in Chiang Mai, interacting with elephants and exploring the mountains. Then we'll unwind on the paradise beaches of Phi Phi. We'll wrap things up in Bali, with visits to sacred temples, the beaches of Uluwatu, and the cultural charm of Ubud, surrounded by unforgettable scenery.
On arrival in the vibrant city of Hanoi, we'll head to our hotel to check in and rest for a bit. In the afternoon we'll explore the charming old quarter, known for its energy and unique blend of tradition and modernity: we'll stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and visit the picturesque Ngoc Son Temple. To close out the day, we'll have a local dinner trying the famous "Pho" at one of the city's traditional spots.
We'll start early with an approximately 4-hour drive to the iconic Ha Long Bay, where we'll board a cruise surrounded by its towering limestone formations. There will be time to swim, kayak, and explore impressive caves, with an on-board lunch of fresh local food. We'll return to Hanoi at the end of the day with memories of an unforgettable journey.
We'll explore Tam Coc, a spectacular area often compared to Ha Long Bay but on land. We'll paddle small boats along its calm waters, surrounded by rice paddies and limestone mountains, with stops to discover hidden caves and small temples. Lunch at a local restaurant with panoramic views before heading back to Hanoi, with the afternoon free to rest or keep exploring the city.
Welcome to Thailand's largest and most historic city. We'll head to our accommodation to check in, then have free hours to start getting to know Bangkok: you can choose a half-day tour to the floating market or explore spots like Wat Traimit, Wang Na Palace, Chatuchak Market, or Lumpini Park. In the evening we'll discover Khaosan Road, Thailand's best party spot, walking down a street packed with local food and nightlife.
We'll visit the city's best spots: Wat Po, known for its huge Reclining Buddha, 46 meters long and 15 meters tall; Wat Arun, one of the main Buddhist temples; and the Grand Palace, a must-see stop with spectacular architecture and one of the country's symbols. The afternoon is free to keep exploring whatever interests you most in Bangkok.
We'll land at Chiang Mai airport, in northern Thailand, to continue discovering this country's magical places. We'll settle into our accommodation and head out for a group dinner, then turn in early to be ready for a one-of-a-kind activity the next day.
A full-day tour from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai to visit the spectacular White Temple, one of Thailand's most impressive sights, and the Blue Temple. We'll continue on to the Golden Triangle, where you can see the border between Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar, with a lunch stop before visiting the Opium Museum and enjoying a long-tail boat ride on the Mekong River.
Today you'll get to know a beautiful elephant sanctuary. Hotel pickup at 7:30 am and an hour's transfer to the sanctuary, where you'll get a quick briefing on how to handle the elephants before preparing healthy food and treats for them, feeding them, and playing with them. We'll enjoy a traditional Thai buffet lunch (vegetarian-friendly) and head back to Chiang Mai around midday, with the afternoon free to enjoy a good local restaurant.
The day starts with free time in Chiang Mai, perfect for taking in the city at a relaxed pace, handling personal errands, or making the most of the last few hours to wander its streets, markets, and signature cafés. Afterward we'll head to the airport to catch our flight to Phuket, known for its tropical scenery and beaches, where we'll transfer to the hotel to settle in and rest.
A spectacular day from Phuket to the paradise Phi Phi Islands: we'll start with a light breakfast before sailing to the iconic Maya Bay. We'll explore natural gems like Viking Cave and dip into the emerald waters of Pileh Lagoon, with stops for snorkeling and monkey encounters at Monkey Beach. We'll close out the day relaxing on Khai Island, amid white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, before heading back at sunset.
Make the most of your last day in Phuket to relax at the hotel or head out to explore: Thai cooking classes, a walk through Phuket Old Town, visiting temples and local culture, an excursion to Phang Nga Bay, beach hopping, watching the sunset at Promthep Cape, or simply lounging by the pool.
Time to say goodbye to Thailand and head to Phuket airport to catch our flight to Bali. On arrival, we'll transfer to our accommodation to check in and head out to explore the area.
Time to explore Bali's cultural capital. We'll travel to Ubud in a private van to visit iconic spots like Tegalalang, a huge rice terrace declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can stroll the terraces and try the local coffee, "Kopi Luwak." We'll continue on to Pura Tirta Empul, the "Holy Water Temple," a Hindu purification site, and wrap up at Monkey Forest, a massive complex home to hundreds of monkeys (watch your belongings — they love to steal food). The day can end with some downtime at a beach club.
We'll discover the most natural and picturesque side of northern Bali, starting with the famous Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, built on a lake and surrounded by mountains. We'll then head into the jungle to reach Sekumpul Waterfalls, considered the most impressive in Bali, with a hike through tropical vegetation and small streams before marveling at the multi-tiered falls set against a spectacular landscape.
A full day to enjoy everything this island has to offer: take the chance for a massage, a yoga class, and more.
We'll get to know a spectacular island just off Bali, the famous Nusa Penida. After breakfast, we'll board a boat and cross the sea to the island, where we'll visit the famous Kelingking Beach — one of the most photogenic spots on the island — the cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean, Broken Beach, and Angel's Billabong.
After breakfast we'll arrive in Uluwatu, a beautiful town recognized worldwide as one of the best places to live, with incredible beaches, cozy cafés, and street art. We'll spend the afternoon free for extra activities like surfing, a yoga class, or watching the sunset at one of the area's amazing beach clubs.
We'll visit the iconic Uluwatu Temple, perched on a cliff with views of the majestic Indian Ocean, admiring traditional Balinese architecture. We can't miss the famous Kecak Dance Performance, a Balinese cultural show combining vocal music and dance in an open-air setting facing the sea. We'll also visit Bali's most important beach area, full of surfers and white sand.
Thank you for being part of this incredible trip! It's time to say goodbye to the group and head to the airport (about an hour from the hotel) to catch your flight back home.
